I think I’ve covered just about everything on this blog from how I got started and what I love most about this business of mine to the perfect nude lip and my favorite brushes.

And although I’ve gone over these questions below a few times for you guys, I wanted to give them a permanent home!

Starting a business can be scary. And sometimes it can feel like you’re fighting an uphill battle…alone. But I wanted you to feel secure in your decision based on the support you’ll receive, exactly how this crazy business works, and just what you need to get started.

So, without further ado, here are answers to your FAQ’s!

1. What kind of support will I have?

When you sign up with me, you are signing up DIRECTLY with me. That’s mean I’m your numero uno teammate! You don’t get placed somewhere in my downline. You have direct access to me all the time, anytime!

You’ll also have access to our secret team Facebook training groups, my exclusive training guides, my onboarding system, + all company resources! This is the closest thing you’ll get to hand-holding while we social distance!

2. Do I have to spend a bunch of money to join?

No way! Getting started with Senegence is just $65! You then have the option to purchase a new distributor kit with product. There aren’t any autoships, monthly minimums, and you get 20-50% OFF right away - just for joining! And your $65 doesn’t just make you a member, it also gets you:

3. How does the discount work?

As I said above, as a distributor, you get 20-50% OFF all products based on your discount level for the month. SeneGence's discount levels are based on Point Value, or PV. An item's point value is 1/2 of the retail price. (EX. 300 PV would be $600 retail product). So, a tube of LipSense would have a PV of 12.5, and a gloss would have a PV of 10.

You determine your discount for the month by the amount of PV you’ve built up!

  • 1-99 pv = 20% off

  • 100-299 pv = 30% off

  • 300 pv - 749 pv = 40% off {50% off in your first 90 days!}

  • 750 pv + = 50% off

4. Can I join just for the discount?

Yes, you can join just for the discount of 20% to 50% off every order you place.  You may also sell the products for up to 50% commission if you wish.  Most find themselves selling to family and friends when they see the wow factor of LipSense and it's staying power. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

5. Can I be an influencer/affiliate?

Absolutely! If you are in the U.S., you have the option to turn your website on and let the company do all the fulfillment. The discount/profit structure is still the same minus 5% for processing. You get paid your commission on sales every Friday. Here’s what you get paid:

  • $1 - $99 sold = 15% commission

  • $200 - $599 sold = 25% commission

  • $600 - $1,499 sold = 35% commission

  • $1,500+ sold = 45% commission

6. Do I have to carry stock?

No way! Your discount level is based on how much PV is accumulated during the month. The more pv, the higher the discount you’re locked into for the remainder of the month.

I personally order some products to have on hand to lock in my discount (profit) for the rest of the month. And it helps to have some of the best sellers on hand! I can’t tell you how many times I get asked for them. If you choose not to carry stock, you just start out at a smaller discount level and build your way up as you sell! The choice is yours!

7. Can I cancel at any time?

Short answer? Yes. But technically, you don’t need to cancel. There is no monthly fee or minimum purchase required. All that is required to stay active is to order 100pv ($200 USD retail) every 6 months. I do this naturally just by purchasing my makeup basics.

If you do go longer than 6 months without ordering, your account will go inactive all on its own. No cancellation fees or penalties! You can even sign back up the next day if you miss us that much!

8. Do you love what you do?

I totally do. In the past 4 years alone, I’ve been able to support my family, have my car completely paid for, traveled the world, my husband quit his job to join me, and ultimately, it’s given my family a better quality of life. We’ve dealt with health issues that required me to take a step back for weeks at a time and this business that I have built supported my family AND didn’t skip a beat. When was the last time you took a month of your job and it and your income didn’t suffer?

Money aside, I’ve also gained a good group of girlfriends who work and play as hard as I do. We’re vastly different and come from all different walks of life. We have different education and skill levels. And, we are all different skin colors and ethnicities. But we’re all able to make this business a success. I’ve never been a part of something that is so inclusive and such a level playing field. It’s my honest belief that ANYONE who wants to do this business and make it work for them, can.
