Flawless, Buildable Coverage with Senegence: Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer
When it comes to achieving flawless skin, the right foundation and tinted moisturizer can make all the difference. If you’re like me and love a versatile product offering skincare benefits and great coverage, then you’ll love Senegence’s Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer (CCTM) and MakeSense Original Foundation. In my latest video, I walk you through how to use both products to create a natural, radiant base that can be built up for fuller coverage when needed.
Senegence Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer
The Senegence Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer (CCTM) is my go-to for light, natural coverage with added skincare benefits. This product not only evens skin tone but also hydrates and protects your skin with built-in SPF 15. It’s infused with anti-aging ingredients, nourishing your skin while giving you a healthy glow. The CCTM adjusts to your skin tone, and with a range of shades, it’s easy to find the perfect match for your complexion.
How I Apply It for Light Coverage:
For the lightest, most natural coverage, I use my fingers to apply the CCTM. This method allows me to blend it seamlessly into my skin while keeping the coverage sheer. It’s perfect when I want fresh, minimal makeup that evens my complexion.
How I Apply for Medium to Full Coverage:
Here are the two ways I achieve medium to full coverage with this foundation:
For Medium Coverage:
I use my F80 Flat Kabuki™ brush to apply CCTM. The dense bristles of this brush help to evenly distribute the product, giving me smooth, medium coverage that still looks natural but hides any imperfections. This method is great when you need a bit more coverage but don’t want a heavy finish. For Full Coverage:
When I’m looking for a full-coverage finish, I apply CCTM with a flat foundation brush, focusing on key areas that need more coverage. After letting the product sit for a few moments, I go back in with my F80 Flat Kabuki™ brush to stipple and blend the product, ensuring a seamless and airbrushed finish. This technique helps to disperse the product evenly and gives you a flawless, long-lasting look.
All three levels of coverage can be done with the foundation if you’re seeking more coverage.
Building for Fuller Coverage
One of the best things about the MakeSense Original Foundation and CCTM is that they are perfect for layering. If you want light coverage, stick with the CCTM. For more coverage, layer the MakeSense Foundation over it. Start by applying a thin layer of CCTM for hydration and light coverage, then follow up with the foundation for a more full-coverage finish. This approach ensures that your skin still feels breathable and looks natural, even with additional layers.
Tools I Use
In my video, I use a few key tools to achieve the perfect finish:
F80 Flat Kabuki™ brush: This is my go-to brush for blending foundation and achieving a smooth, even finish for medium or full coverage.
Flat foundation brush: I use this brush to apply the foundation precisely, especially when building coverage.
Fingers: For the lightest coverage with the CCTM, I prefer to use my fingers for a natural, skin-like finish.
