How I Organize My Beauty Room
I get asked all the time about my beauty room and today I thought I’d take you through the layout and overall setup - It’s a total luxury and nightmare all at the same time! If you’ve ever seen the chaos that can be created in this room, then you know!
I’m in the unique position of having this room due to my profession and passion. If you want more info about joining me, you can click HERE.
The majority of my office furniture was purchased at Ikea but because of quarantine, there are a few other options that are easier if you’re looking to build out your space during this time! Lots of curbside pick-up options that are totally contactless. Check out my picks to outfit your office below:

What I like most about this room is how it is set up to take advantage of all the natural light coming in. All of my pictures taken in natural lighting are so much better than staged - it’s just harder to get it consistently. I plan to do an entire blog post about my lighting and camera setup so keep an eye out!
This is where I spend 99% of my time and if there’s anything I pass on to you is that organization here makes all the difference in the world! I love the makeup organizers from The Container Store and they are all 20% OFF right now!

Makeup Organization
I love these types of containers because they’re modular and can be stacked or combined to build the perfect storage system for you growing collection. And they are specifically built for makeup so they trays, slots, dividers, etc are all built to hold everything you use!
As for the specific things I use for LipSense Storage, it’s actually a Kopek marker case and if the one linked is out of stock, you can always google “marker storage”. I also have this Sorbus Acrylic Drawer Organizer inside my desk drawer to help keep my very favorites and the items I grab for all the time super handy. I’ve also got these Acrylic Storage containers in my pull-out drawers to keep those organized.
MIRRORS
I have two Riki mirrors - one quite large and another smaller on. These have LEDs built in and make putting on makeup a dream - especially when I’m filming! If the larger one is not in your budget, I’d definitely start with the smaller Riki. You won’t regret it!

And if you want, here is a video I did of my makeup room about 2 years ago. I’ve definitely updated things since then but it gives you a good idea of the basics!
Let me know if there’s anything I missed!
