Halloween Makeup Look: Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit is iconic for her bold, glamorous look, and I wanted to recreate her makeup with a fun, corporate twist! This look is all about the bold red lip, sultry eyes, and flawless complexion. If you're not aiming for the full "sexy vixen" vibe but still want the glam, this look is perfect. Here’s how I created it step by step, including the makeup products and brushes I used!

Flawless Full-Coverage Base

To achieve Jessica Rabbit’s flawless, airbrushed skin, I used Senegence Dewy Foundation for full coverage without mixing it with my usual tinted moisturizer. I applied it using the Morphe M439 brush, which buffs the foundation seamlessly into the skin, creating a smooth, even finish. For bronzer, I reached for my usual Senegence Deep Tinted Moisturizer to warm up the face and add dimension.

Brush used: Morphe M439 brush for foundation and bronzer application.

Concealer for Maximum Coverage

For concealer, I applied a generous amount and let it sit for a few minutes before blending. This technique helps the concealer offer more coverage, especially when you need it for a dramatic look like this. I blended it out with a flat brush, ensuring all edges were seamless for that airbrushed effect.

Sultry Eyes: Purples and Burgundy

For the eyes, I went with a bold mix of purple and burgundy to give a twist to Jessica Rabbit's classic look.

  1. Transition Shade: I started with Mocha Java ShadowSense, which is my go-to transition shade, applied with a fluffy blending brush to the crease and under the lower lash line to ensure smooth blending.

  2. Base Color: To deepen the outer corner, I used a burgundy shade, which gave a darker base for the purple to stand out against.

  3. Main Color: I packed on Purple Sapphire Shimmer ShadowSense using the Sigma E58 flat brush to make the purple really pop. To make it even more dramatic, I added a second layer for extra intensity.

  4. Shimmer and Glitter: For a bit of glam, I used Whisper Pink ShadowSense on the inner lid, creating a soft highlight. I then added Urban Decay Rock Moon Dust glitter on top, giving the eyes a shimmery finish that’s perfect for Halloween.

Brushes used:

  • Fluffy blending brush for transition shade.

  • Sigma E58 flat brush for packing on the purple shimmer.

  • Flat brush for applying Whisper Pink and glitter.

Eyeliner and Lashes

For the iconic cat-eye liner, I used a black liquid liner, creating a sharp wing on both eyes. I then applied a set of Velour Lashes in the style "Here to Slay" to add drama to the look. These lashes are perfect because they’re wispy enough to let the purple shadow show through, but still bold enough to make an impact.

Pro Tip: If you're like me and aren’t a fan of strip lashes, you can opt for semi-permanent lash systems like Senegence’s Lashify collaboration for a more comfortable, long-lasting wear.

Bold Red Lips and Blush

No Jessica Rabbit look is complete without that perfect red lip! I mixed Senegence HydraMatte Lip Color in Blue-Red with a bit of Wild Berry to cool down the shade and give it more depth. I love that the HydraMatte formula is creamy enough to use as blush too! I applied the leftover lip color to my cheeks for a cohesive look that ties the lip and face together.

Brush used: I applied my blush using a flat surface like the lid of my powder to mix the shades, then used disposable lip wands for precise lip application.

Highlight and Gloss

For some added glow, I used Senegence Pearlizer as a highlighter, applying it to the high points of my face with the Sigma F35 brush. This product adds a soft, natural glow that complements the overall look. To finish, I applied a generous amount of high-shine gloss for that glossy Jessica Rabbit lip.
